Board Meeting – 9/25/09 at Mary Downing’s home in Monroe, WA

In attendence- Mary Downing, Chris Downing, Jeannette Dorsey, Peggy Hewes and Janis Castle (on Speaker Phone)

Meeting called to order by Mary at 7:40 pm

Teasurer Report- Discussion of Specialty, still need bills from the Speciaty and some trophy donations.

Nominating Committee- Selection of Nominating Committee – Jeanette Dorsey (chair), Ann Herrett, Christine Hopperstad, Susan Manthou (alternate).

Discussion of holding a Show Committee Meeting- eve of 10/17 at 6pm or so, Jeanette will find a location in the Tukwila area. More on this later.

Discussion of Membership- We have two applicants for membership. The Board will recommend to the General Membership to change the Membership rules that Applicants must attend at least one meeting or event and be announce on the web site, and then have one reading before being voted on by the membership at a general meeting.

Discussion on the status of the Bike- the bike is now paid off and we are still waiting to get the paper work from Albin. Mary will contact him regarding this again.
