Board Meeting called to order by Peggy Hewes, President at 1:0 pm on 9/11/2010 at the All Hound Club of Bellingham show.

In Attendance- Peggy Hews, Mary Downing, Beth Levine, Janis Castle, Jeannette Dorsey, and Heather Nichols. Guest Helen Bretell.

Treasurer’s Report:

  • Discussed and reviewed the Financial Reports submitted by Janis Castle.
  • Discussed the financial results of our Specialty held this August at Argus Ranch, Auburn, WA.
  • We are working on authorizing new check signers within the club. Candidates are: Janis Castle, Mary Downing, Peggy Hewes and Beth Levine.
  • Treasurer is working on complying with a new IRS law for non-profit organizations.
  • Discussed the fact that our financials still need to be audited. Janis Castle and Kerie Swepston to schedule this sometime in the near future.

Membership Report:

  • May be receiving a new application in the near future.

Old Business:

  • No report.

New Business:

  • Board discussed creating a nomination committee for the 2011 slate. Mary Downing will head the nomination committee. Candidates that will be asked to be on the committee are: David Cassill, Shirley Konizeski, Gail Dunbar and Chad Bowen as an alternate.
