Board Meeting called to order by Peggy Hewes, President at 2:20 pm on 1/09/11 at Mary Downing’s house in Monroe, WA. In Attendance- Mary Downing, Peggy Hewes, Shirley Konizeski, Jeanette Dorsey, Susan Manthou, and Heather Nichols.   Guests: Gail Dunbar and Hannah Nichols.

Updated Club Officers document for AKC.

Held a discussion regarding club’s tax ID number.

Discussed the need to schedule a show committee meeting to discuss the AKC show Application.

New Business:

  • Dave will be having surgery this winter and will be unavailable to run the lure for our clubs practices for quite some time.  We need to find a replacement lure operator in order for our club to continue to offer lure practices.
  • Discussed updating our indemnity form that is to be signed before our club lure practices can start.
  • Bylaws need to state that all club communication is communicated through electronic means.
  • Discussed the need for a club Audit.
  • Noted that the WWWA board/club has no interest in holding CWA meets.
  • Discussed holding AKC lure coursing trials in addition to ASFA lure coursing trials.
  • General membership meeting January 26th.
  • Next board meeting will be held in March 2011.
