Committee reports:
Janis reports that the show committee is underway with the August Specialties.  She has reviewed the current premium list and will email the PDF out for final approval.  Helen will help obtain the information needed to honor the remembrance of David DeChant at our specialties this year.  Janis reviewed the scheduled events for both days.  Peggy is requesting suggestions for Obedience judges for future
shows.

Beth reported on behalf of the performance committee.  The March race meets and April Lure Trials were successful events in spite of a drop in entries this year.  Concern for attendance due to economic challenges and high gas prices continuing to take a toll on entries this year was expressed by all.  The versatility weekend is coming up this Saturday Sunday and Monday.  Encouragement for all to attend, enter and help put on the events was discussed.  There was hope for good weather and good times at this popular club event.

Darcy brought up the need to make plans for the summer picnic and round robin match.  The date of July 14 was confirmed and the suggestion made to hold the event at the home of Mary Downing.  The next club board and general meeting will be held at this event.  Discussion ensues about what items to barbeque and that the accompanying dishes will be potluck.

Shirley and David report that the practices are going well and that they are well attended.  The Doodle reservation system was discussed, and David explained that it was helpful to know in advance who was planning to come.  The running order can be planned in advance to make the practice run more efficiently, but Shirley is willing to assist anyone who is unable to utilize the Doodle system.
